Valencia College Dual Enrollment
Valencia offers flexible options for public, private, and home education students.
Application Requirements:
- Must reside in Orange County or Osceola County.
- Be registered at an Orange County or Osceola County Public/Charter School, eligible private school, home education student, or Personalized Education Plan recipient in Orange County or Osceola County.
- Meet the high school cumulative GPA requirement: 3.0 Unweighted CGPA (grades 6-11); 3.0 Weighted CGPA (grade 12).
- Obtain eligible test scores in Reading, Writing, & Math through PERT/ACT/SAT.

Test Score Requirements
All students are required to submit and have college-ready test scores on file at Valencia College for reading, writing and math, by the deadline for the desired term of enrollment. Any combination of eligible scores (see below) will be accepted.

Barry University Dual Enrollment
Barry’s program allows students to take college-level courses at their high school or on campus.
Application Requirements:
- Be enrolled in a course of study which will fulfill requirements for high school graduation.
- Be in either 11th or 12th grade.
- Have a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA.
- Attend a partner high school.
- Acquire parent/guardian and high school’s approval needed.
- Have an approved Dual Enrollment application.
- Have the minimum standardized college placement or readiness score according to the Florida Department of Education’s Common Placement Testing.

Career & Technical Education (CTE) Dual Enrollment – OCPS
Orange County Public Schools offers CTE dual enrollment through technical centers and high schools, preparing students for industry certifications and high-demand careers.

University of Central Florida Dual Enrollment
Application Requirements:
Must attend a public or private school in Orange, Seminole, Brevard, Osceola, Volusia, or Lake County that has an articulation agreement with UCF OR must be registered as a home school student in Orange, Seminole, Brevard, Osceola, Volusia, or Lake County.
Must have completed a minimum of 4 high school units, which must include:
- 1 English
- 1 math
- 1 science
- 1 social science/world language/additional math
Must have a 3.8 high school GPA* (see note) as re-calculated by UCF using only academic core courses.
Must have achieved a minimum standardized test score on either the SAT, ACT or CLT.
- SAT: 1340 (Evidence-based Reading and Writing + Math)
- ACT: 29 (Composite)
- CLT: 96
Must be free of (or reviewed and cleared of) any charges or scholastic or behavioral misconduct, violation of the law, or felony charges or criminal proceedings (details in application).
